Silent Auction Benefit for Kisoro Hospital
Prevention International: No Cervical Cancer!

Complimentary drinks and hors d'oeuvres from 5-7PM

Cervical cancer is the most common cancer in the developing work, yet it is almost completely preventable. There is one hospital in Uganda with doctors, nurses and midwives who have been trained by PiNCC to diagnose and treat pre-invasive cervical dysplasia. All Kisoro hospital lacks is a LEEP machine.

Using PiNCC's database, I estimated 1 LEEP machine could save about 6,000 lives over the next 10 years. A leep machine costs approximately $3,000. That's only 50 cents per life...

Let's turn pennies into lives.

On September 21st I will be hosting a silent auction to raise money for the first LEEP machine in Uganda. The items for auction were created by African artisans and were gathered during my trip to Uganda earlier this year. Your attendance would mean the world to me and you kind donations could mean life to thousands of women.

Sincerely,

Kelle S. Oberle, MD
OB/Gyn resident
